Shadowrun

Apparently, there were two US versions released of one of my favourite SNES games, Shadowrun. The later release apparently has some censoring. Makes me wish I did some investigating before I sold my extra copy. I'm curious as to which version I have.

Bleeding Through

So, this past Friday, Recon had a show booked with Hatebreed, Bleeding Through, Strapping Young Lad, Full Blown Chaos, and Heal These Wounds. We arrived at the show to find that Hatebreed had cancelled. Bummer! I thought a lot of people would leave, and I'm sure some did, but there was still a huge turnout.
It was good to see Bleeding Through again. I had forgotten how chill those dudes are. Brandon is a pretty posi dude. Marta is A O K, too. Hadn't talked to her in a couple of years. And I'll admit it openly, they killed it Friday night. Really good set. Their songs aren't bad. Makeup or whatever aside, that band and the people in it are all pretty solid. I think I may have forgotten that over the years. Hopefully it won't be another two years before I run into them again.
